Amerock Vintage Catalogs

VINTAGE CABINET HARDWARE, HINGES, PULLS, AND KNOBS
By Amerock Corporation
(earlier known as American Cabinet Hardware Corporation)

Note: A lot of the hardware shown is "art deco" styling.

Some Amerock history is available at: http://www.amerock.com/amerock/consumer/jhtml/history.jhtml

The following pages are from several old Amerock Catalogs starting with # 211 from 1946, a black and white catalog, followed by a supplement in three colors also from 1946. Catalog 213 I believe is from 1952 and this copy includes a supplement showing new items added since the original issue of the catalog. I do not find a copyright date on this one.

I have a surprising amount of hardware shown in these catalogs considering that it is most probably 50 years old. I have sold some of it to customers that had Teardrop or Airstream travel trailers, Chris Craft Cabin Cruisers, an airplane that was being restored, and of course period kitchens. A quote from a blurb found on the Internet:

"some of the new old stock vintage travel trailer, camper, Airstream cabinet hardware that I have collected over the years. ........................ chrome hinges that were used on trailers from in the 1930's 1940's 1950's and into the early 1960's. They were found on trailers such as Silver Streak, Airstream, Streamline and many more. Tear drop, motor home even mobile homes used them. They are similar to the hinges used on some early Spartans, but not exact. I have used these to replace standard hinges that mount to the inside of the door, these mount to the outside!. These hinges measure 1 1/2" x 2 1/16" with a 3/8 offset or lap over."
The hinge describe was a #3068 by Amerock. At the date of this posting I have quite a few in inventory.

E-mail me your needs and I will be glad to check stock for you and give a quote.

Enjoy browsing these old gems!

P.S. - When you click on one of the image links, if you get a little picture icon in the bottom right of the image you can click on it to make the image full size. It took me a minute to catch on to this IE feature so I figured I'd pass it on.
